Hit the "Remote" tab and choose the "Allow users to connect remotely" button and hit "OK."

Go to your "Control Panel" on your computer and hit "Security Center."

Hit the button that says "Windows Firewall" and uncheck the "Don't Allow Exceptions" box.

Hit the "Exceptions" tab and check off the "Remote Desktop" box and click "OK."

Go to "Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System > Computer Name."

Copy the computer name for future use and hit "OK."

Connect the Computers Remotely

Go to "Start > All Programs > Accessories."

Hit "Communications > Remote Desktop Connection."

Paste in the name of the host computer and hit "Connect."

Type in your user name and password and hit "OK." You are now connected to the other (host) computer.

Go to "Start > Log Off" to disable the remote connection.
